Ed Cooley

Ed Cooley is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach of the Providence Friars men's basketball team. He has been the head coach of the Friars since 2011, and has achieved a great deal of success in his time at the helm. Here is a look at the career of Ed Cooley.

Early Coaching Career

In 2011, Ed Cooley was named the head coach of the Providence Friars. He has since led the Friars to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in 2014. He has also been named Big East Coach of the Year three times, in 2013, 2016 and 2018.
